What is the best part of working at the company?
The assembly line work isn’t bad, pretty easy. Co-workers are fantastic!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
After successfully completing and doing everything that is required to get a pay raise, it is very difficult and stressful to get a respectable raise , management does not keep their word on what they tell you about moving up very quick in pay during the interview. A seventeen cent raise and one cent raise are very common. Going to their Human Resource department does absolutely nothing. Some of the new hires coming in with no experience start at a higher pay rate then those who have been with the company for a year or so. Management acknowledges this when asked about it, and says that the new hires wanted more money, so they give it to them. While at the same time current employees, very good employees, they refuse to give them a respectable pay raise, seventeen cents and one cent raises are very ridiculous and a slap in the face. 
Turnover rate is extremely high, more then half the employees work there less than a year. 
Very poor management, stay away from this company.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is a very fast paced, with very little to no reward for hard work, this job is very physical. 
Coworkers are fantastic!!!
Extremely bad management, make this a not so good place for employment. 
And safety is concerning at times, there are a lot of work related injuries that happen right inside the plant. Most of the injuries are of no fault by the employee. Just cheap and old machinery and tools

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Ten hour work days, each day is spent working a a very fast pace. You get two , ten minute breaks and a twenty minute lunch in which you get paid for. The harder you work, the more you are expected to do, with a very small pay raise ranging from one cent to seventeen cents.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I enjoyed my time at Wacker Neuson, the work was interesting and certainly challenging at times. I saw the company grow as we had a real handle on the market. Unfortunately Covid 19 changed many things in the working world and it affected the supply chain tremendously as we were tied our home base in Europe and we had to accept furloughs and lay offs. The scope of the future was not planned for this huge impact on the industry. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It was originally a very busy department and many changes happened, over the time I was working there. I did not feel management had a feeling for what the employees were actually doing on a day to day basis and the communication definitely broke down. The team energy slowly dissipated.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The most difficult part was moving to a very small work area where it was difficult to concentrate because we were required to work in a very small area. Outside our department it seemed to be pretty positive. I was off work for a time around the holidays and very soon after the company had and outside party on the grounds. That was something we all needed. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
We had many tasks to complete throughout the day and there were many interruptions and sometimes we had to stop and start tasks multiple times during the day. Mostly we worked on moving our work from our control to the other departments as we strived to release parts and keep production flowing.

If you're going into IT, then expect to be given responsibilities without the authority to carry them out and no clear direction.

The upper IT leadership does not have the ability to make sound decisions, and often flip flops their decisions based on the politics between Germany and Austria. It seems that if you can imagine what the worst possible decision is, then that is the decision that will be made by the Austrians...which steer the direction of IT. The US has no power at all in the IT decision making process, and is never even included on conversations during the decision making process.

The middle/low level managers in the US have the ability to make great decisions and are more experienced, but do not have the authority to do so.

Union employees treat the temps poorly,temps have no voice for fear of losing their jobs. Ungreatful and demanding attitudes of management.Very unorganized and always running out of supplies. Company expects perfection from workers with out proper training. They show you how to do something once, then your on your own to figure things out and then when you get it wrong they are all to quick to point it out to you. They can make you feel stupid when it's their own fault that no training is provided,to new people and it's pretty easy for someone to get injured with out proper training. Obviously they have never heard the phrase ...Lead by example.

Over the last 1 1/2 years the culture has gotten much better. The new manager is making a big impact and listens to what the floor has to say which is very rare. They like to get the entire team together whether it is a grill-out, bags tournament, or weekly line meetings communicating updates on processes or company direction. It sounds like they will be investing in our technology and creating more space in our facility. It's awesome to see positive change happening and everyone is excited.

I have a wide range of experience on the OEM side of construction equipment company. I specialized in sales, tech support, training, new product design along with market development and dealer development. I have years of hands on experience on a vast variety of equipment from compact construction equipment, to light equipment such as pumps, power generation, demolition equipment, and concrete finishing machines.I have a passion for creating new business and working in team environment to create results. I specialized in the field development of over 500 products with a focus on compact wheel loaders, excavators, and articulated haulers.

Was very much looking forward to getting in this company as I had high hopes it would be the last new job I would start in a very long time, if ever. Unfortunately it was nothing at all what I had hoped for. It seems as though all the skilled work and higher paying jobs are slowly but surely leaving this shop. 
The management at Wacker Neuson seems to be as bad, if not worse than all the reviews I saw before starting there. Double standards abound. Most disappointing job prospect I ever experienced. Huge letdown.

Eventually you get to leave there is no upside to working for this manufacturer

The work environment is stressful people can really be judgmental here

A typical day here would be from the time you clock in till end of day expect to be overwhelmed

Often felt like upper leadership were piecing procedures together on the fly. Would get differing directives from managers. Not all processes were completely detailed for team members to follow. Not all processes were followed according to the documented processes. Could be a very confusing place to work.

Improper training. Management treats and works you like a slave. Treats temps horrible. Unorganized. I was once told not to leave my station even if I had to use the bathroom. Supervisor stresses you to the point you want to walk out. Co workers are very rude and hard to work with. Leads help u get fired if you are not liked on the first day.
