WalkerHealthcareIT/WalkerHealthcare has a lot of amazing employees, who unfortunately are not treated well by management.  If you are looking for a place with career advancement, annual raises and bonuses, managers that care and have knowledge, do NOT work here.  The economy is bad enough and this company will overwork you and not give you any raises to help bridge the gap.  The managers are very disconnected with their employees, because that is the way they like it.  The owners are very hands off.  You practically never see them.  When I was an employee there, I had little direction.  My manager acted as if I was bothering him whenever I reached out.  The company is growing, but they are not hiring the right amount of people or have hired many incompetent in the past who simply should not be there.  The company has let some of their top executives get away with treating employees terribly and very unprofessional.  At any other company, that would not happen and you would be fired on the spot.  I was there for over and year and what is really sad..the owners never said thank you or I am doing a great job.  I only got mean, disrespectful. and rude emails.  If you are young, do not work here.  It is a trap.  They tell all their recruiters they can easily make 100k/year during the interview process.  That is widely untrue.  Save yourself time, energy, and stress.  Work for a company that actually cares about your wellbeing.

Walker Healthforce is typically one of the better places to work. They do have great work-life balance. It's easy to get along with the management at Walker Healthforce. Typically day involves briefing about the technical projects, discuss the project scope/projects coming our (organization's) way.
They do give high emphasis to career growth/enhancement and upskilling aspects.

The most enjoyable part of my job was getting to meet with distinct teams outside of the people in my team which promotes cross-team & cross functional collaboration.

I will highly encourage individuals to pursue their professional career with Walker Healthforce especially within their IT/Technological department.

This is a Travel / Local Agency  and I  have felt supported and encouraged by my recruiter since day one! When I've had questions or needed clarification,  Haley has always been there to help get whatever I needed... even just to check in and make sure I was happy.  The management at the facility I've been placed in is just as appreciative and supportive. I am lucky to have found such a wonderful agency. With each extension  I have been awarded a raise. They also offer benefit packages if desired.

Great place to work in the Healthcare IT space. They really care about their consultants and employees. They are a mid-sized firm which allows them the flexibility to give great customer service. I would definitely recommend applying to work there to any of my peers. There are a lot of firms in the HIT space that are not reputable! WalkerHealthcareIT is definitely the best of the best!

I have been working for Walker Health for about a year and a half now and I have absolutely no complaints. The people that I report to regularly check in to see how things are going and have always stepped in to help when needed. 

I love being able to work fully remote and appreciate the opportunity given to me by this company. I definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a great place to work.
