My experience working at welbe was good at first until I started to realize the work load management expected from you. I loved working with the senior population you do have an impact on their lives, but management is what killed it. Unfortunately I worked with the type of management that does not care for you or your health you will be over worked or they will let you go. There is no accountability with management there is no structure or go to for any internal problems. I worked with an employee that was uncomfortable to work with and they were reported to management but nothing was done about it just brushed it off. I had other great employees to work with I will say but like I said management got in the way of that. They only care about the numbers and money at this point. Management (RG) had trust issues and would tell us they do NOT trust us at all especially to try and work from home when we had no provider to tend to. The supervisor(MB) within the clinic area was also not helpful they had little to none experience when it came to handling the team. They were not resourceful or helpful at all. Unfortunately they made it stressful all the time as well. If you are applying here please DON'T do it, Management will run you to the grown and blame you. There is NO accountability. They stand by these 3 Pilars of shared intention, courage to love and pioneering spirit but they DO NOT CARE. Just do not waste your time and apply here your job is not secured once they don't like you they will let you go. take this review as a warning. Promises are made and not kept, they will tell you that they get bonuses quarterly to get your attention to sign with them but you will never get them. I have worked almost 3 quarters with them and not once did we as a team get a bonus. other than that you will have some amazing staff to work with but just know management is there to bring you down. so just be careful when applying here. 

A typical day at work - You never knew who was up next to get fired or demoted. Often a surprise to the employee as well as their peers.  Many really good, loyal and caring employees leave due to the stress levels.
What you believe you learned - The PACE organization model is wonderful but the owners and founders are in it strictly for the money, across the board.  I have yet to witness otherwise.
Management - Ground level management try their best.  Upper leadership is garbage across the board at many of the PACE organizations!  
Workplace culture - TOXIC
The hardest part of the job - not enough resources, people or space to work, politics was absolutely horrible!  If you don't know how or are unwilling to play "the game" you won't make it.
The most enjoyable part of the job - The poor participants that are duped into leaving their care in the hands of an organization like this.  

Fresno leadership was a mean girls club with maturity and pettiness issues!  Diversity and inclusion don't exist here.  Go ahead...count the number of successful minorities in leadership positions.  If you are in a position flying low under the radar, thank your lucky star as  you could potentially last a year or two without feeling the wrath or blame for the shoddy work of upper leadership. Otherwise, this place is only good as a stepping stone until you can HOPEFULLY find a PACE center anywhere that actually cares about participants and not just making money. This is ANOTHER SAD EXCUSE for a PACE organization. These places need SO MUCH MORE government intervention and oversight, PRONTO!

This has got to be one of the most frustrated jobs I have ever had. Management has no clue what to do with certain job aids and their process. They also manage too much, or not at all. They expect us to work on a system that literally is still in it's bootleg mode while attempting to assist callers. When feedback is given from the errors we experience, they simply brush it under the rug and then scratch their heads when the same errors comes back. Promotions and wage increases are an absolute joke - don't expect even a 50 cent increase when you're promoted. Our particular department cradles all the others as we are responsible for almost all aspects of the patients care. We are the liaison for almost everything. Providers do not care for participants - when orders get dropped we are blamed. When someone doesn't get picked up - we are blamed. When there's no authorization on file - we are blamed! It's exhausting having to talk to the callers. Half of them cannot hear or don't speak English and that reflects on our call stats - according to management. This company rolls out updates like no end - but fails fix the basics of their foundation (COMMUNICATION). 
There is a break down of communication with this company. All the departments just do whatever they want without ever consulting or notifying ours and that ends in numerous errors of orders, appointments, claims, etc. 
Their expectations on call stats are not realistic based on their current systems. I can see this company doing well...in a few years. I say apply 3 years from now - when they have a head on their shoulders. 

Love getting to help the most vulnerable seniors remain as independent as possible. 

We have had a lot of change at our center in the last year or so. It feels now that there is finally some stability, structure, and support where a year ago, I wouldn’t have said that. It finally feels secure in the center and that the right people are in positions of leadership. 

There are a lot of opportunities to advance your career and your abilities at WelbeHealth. I have found that to have a positive experience in this company, you need to be honest, hardworking, and most importantly, possess the ability to advocate strongly  for yourself. It isn’t just this company, it’s all for profit companies that will pay the lowest wages you’re willing to take. If you think you’re worth a higher wage, ask. You are your own best advocate.

As with any company, this one is not perfect. There are some gaps in communication, they are pretty slow to fill vacancies, and some people that are not worth their wages are kept on far longer than they deserve. It seems also that there are a lot of positions that are fluff and unnecessary. There are a lot of remote positions that need to be more closely monitored. Not sure what some of those employees are doing for eight hours a day.

Overall, however, this is a fantastic place to work and is full of huge potential for the right people!!

This review is based on the Outreach Sales position. This position is very stressful and long work day. You're more likely to be successful if you speak Spanish and have the right territory. Territory and sales structure is dysfunctional. As an OS you spend way too much time on team's meeting and in person meeting. There are favoritism when it comes to lead referrals. You are required to meet your numbers but the support from upper management doesn't really help you with your challenges. Their MOTO is "find a way". I came from corporate sales for over 20 years and they way they run their sales strategies are at lost. If you don't come from a prior PACE program, they really don't train you correctly and they expect you to be successful. I though this company was about the care of the seniors but when you're on the inside, it's about making the numbers of enrollments. Basically, in a nutshell, you're selling medical insurance to seniors 55+.  At the end of they day, you're just a number, upper management and coworker is going to forget you; and Welbe a revolving door. 

It's been less than a year for me working with Welbe and right off the bat I could tell the management was awful. There's high turnover rates with this company for a reason - especially those that work on the Day Center floor. They pretty much throw you into the water and have you "find a way to figure things out" (words from my Center director). The workflow between departments are not well structured and they expect you to take ownership of your position without much guideline. The management is very much all over the place and our day center manager lacks in organization. We're short staffed majority of the time and have goals to grow but honestly I think they need to work on employee capacity first before enrolling more participants. The roles that are face to face with participants a lot (participant navigators, scheduling, personal care assistants, admin) get the brunt of the work and are not compensated or cared for well in my opinion. They'll try to buy you in with career advancement and benefits, but really think about that before working here. The benefits may entice you, but you'll be burnt out fast.

The company itself is great but management is not so great . Many management “admin” positions that get paid “pretty good” ( quote on quote from a supervisor) to just work from home, go to virtual meetings and have very little clinical background/knowledge. Non Management/Admin employees do most of the work collaboratively to help Welbe come to life and yet those employees don’t get compensated enough. We lost and keep loosing great employees that basically represent what Welbe is all about which is so disappointing.  Our team at Welbe can’t afford to loose anymore great employees. A lot of the workers here deserve more; there is a huge turnover for a reason. I would not refer any colleagues/ former co workers to this company. You know there’s a problem when Patients complain to you about supervisors and keep expressing “why are all the good ones leaving”. All you can do at that point is smile and assure them that their care is the top priority and nothing will change that.

A typical day at work felt disorganized with little structure or clear direction, which made it difficult to stay on track. Management was highly political and inconsistent, with leadership often siding with certain individuals instead of addressing issues fairly or professionally. The workplace culture felt unprofessional and cliquey, more like a high school environment than a functioning company.

I didn’t feel there was proper organization, accountability, or communication between teams and leadership. Expectations were often unclear, which made the job more stressful than it needed to be. I didn’t gain much professionally other than learning how I prefer structured and well-managed environments.

The hardest part of the job was dealing with constant confusion, lack of direction, and poor management decisions. The most enjoyable part was working with a few good coworkers when things were calm, but overall the environment was not positive or supportive.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The concept is great but the corporate changes have taken away from the original mission. As a therapist, it is great to treat a patient as long as I need to without the visit restrictions and we have great result!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Too many technology changes with broken systems that don't work even before they are launched and then we are told to use them??

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The rehab team is great! The  patients are great! Corporate isn't listening to concerns of those who have to use the inefficient technology.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
There are a variety of tasks: some of my patients are seen in their home, some on the Grandpad and others at the center. Treatment, documentation, collaboration with other rehab staff, emails and sometimes required online trainings

A typical work day consists of about an hour of waiting for your assignment from your supervisor.  But, then the assignment would change mid day or by different employee's. The day is always very confusing and unorganized,  they will but meetings on at the last minute,  that tends to be very frustrating,  due to being in the middle of your work and they are calling for a last minute meeting.  Also, the work load and emails are extremely overwhelming,  and one is expected to answer emails and complete all assignments by the end of day. Overtime was always offered,  but it was a daily occurrence.  Also,  trying to take time off was impossible,  the management wanted me to make up my PTO for a half day on my next work day. The communication was never clear and when you asked for clarification,  you got a defensive answer back. The concept is great, but the company needs some strong reorganization.
