What is the best part of working at the company?
The management team is great, very understanding. My co workers are great there's no bad mouthing here which I love because work should be a happy place to be and nobody should talk bad about one another. The residents are great. The whole environment is just pleasant and very happy to be a part of a great work environment.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
it's not to stressful. There's only been a few times where I had to give out SAMM to all three assignments because we were short staffed.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's a great work environment there's no drama or anyone talking bad about each other everyone gets along great with each other, we all help each other the best we can. the management is great as well I mentioned that they are very understanding and wonderful. The environment is definitely great and enjoy being apart of.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I usually work overnight shifts more than I do 3-11 shifts. But when I do work 3-11 shifts I go punch in, go upstairs to the RA office read the nurses notes or the nurse if they are still there will read the notes to us. After going over the nurse notes depending what assignment you're assigned I will go around and collect the laundry from residents for that day, start the laundry. then when done collecting and started some of the laundry I will go do SAMM, after I do SAMM I will bring residents to dinner if they need escorts or will bring dinner trays to them if they don't go down to dinner. I will also escort back from dinner then some residents will need to be changed and or bathed after dinner, then I'll do my other rounds for SAMM, then get some residents ready for bed that need assistance. once this is done I will go back and forth to check on laundry and continue to do laundry and listen on the walkie talkies for any residents who press their pendents Incase they need help with using the bathroom or anything.

I worked at Allerton House for 4 years.  I started as a home health aide, providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for 10 plus patients in the facility.  I earned an Outstanding Dedication and Compassion Award.  Not after long, I went to a Medication Management Training program.  After I received that training, I was responsible for all the medication for the patients throughout the facility.  I worked with supervisors and determined needs and contributed to patient care plan, monitored patient behavior/condition and reported changes.  The most enjoyable part of my job was making my patients feel loved, safe and independent as possible.

I love working here. The management was wonderful and it was a great place to work. We would get a trip every year paid for as a company. Benefits were amazing.

A knit community very rounded people and it felt like family, everybody worked well with each other the supervisors were the best, the culture made it good.
