Toxic Leadership. Concealed very well - this organization’s leadership consistently engages in abusive, destructive, or manipulative behaviors that negatively impact the well-being of their subordinates, the organization, and even society. 

Having had worked there in operational management for over 2 years and in direct support for nearly 12 months, I can personally attest to the organizational leader's self-serving actions, abuse of power, and disregard for the needs and development of those they lead.exploit their position to manipulate, control, and intimidate others.

This organization’s management has created a culture where disregarding for subordinates needs a norm. They prioritize their own needs and goals, often at the expense of their team members' well-being and development.  A “sacrifice their people for the numbers” approach.

The negative impacts of this toxic leadership had lead to decreased morale, decreased productivity, increased stress, and even mental and physical health issues for those affected.  

Examples of their toxic leadership behavior is micromanagement, public humiliation, unrealistic demands, favoritism, and a lack of communication.  The focus of this organization’s toxic leadership culture aims to achieve short-term success, but their actions ultimately undermine the long-term health and success of the organization.

I have since happily resigned from that terrible organization for a much better team. One where my graduate education, over 2 decades of military and law enforcement service, and my goal of public service can be fulfilled. It is my most sincere desire and professional advisement that you avoid any form of employment with this organization.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working at this company is the consumers and the team for which you have been assigned to.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The expectations of Upper Management and not being given the proper tools to complete your job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Upper Managment show’s favoritism on a daily basis.  The Executive Director will employ new positions and give promotions to staff that does what he wants them to do with no regard to policy and procedure.  The Executive Director will also use the same staff to falsify documents and lie on staff that are doing what they are supposed to do.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working with WTCSB is very stressful.  The Executive Director will not approve staffing for certain departments which causes staff to have caseloads total over 40 cases.  This create burnout and staff shortages.

The work culture at WTCSB is very interesting you are more likely to get a promotion if you have a good rapport with the managers. It's not based on experience it is based on who you know. If you have been there for a long time you may or may not advance based on the culture. If you are not favored then you will not get promoted. Hard work will more than likely be unrecognized. In stead of hiring new people they overload their current workers and expect all tasks to be completed. It is a good place to work a year learn and move on. Training is lackluster and not specific to your job duties. No manuals or reference guides will be provided. Once you are hired and trained for about a week then you are expected to know EVERYTHING there is to know about the position without being taught about the position in it's entirety.

A typical day is filled with client  and high demands, but management’s poor communication and frequent micromanagement make it challenging. Learned resilience and adaptability but face issues with scheduling and ethical concerns. Enjoy interacting with clients, but the hardest part is navigating unstable schedules and lack of support.

The work environment can be stressful due to the clients needs and  lack of community resources. You gain a great deal of gratification from knowing that you are helping others. The organization goes above and beyond for their clients however expect you to work magic and get paid very little. 
Immediate supervisor was VERY supportive however UPPER  management lacked empathy and provided you with little to no support. It was not uncommon for a staff member to receive a "nasty gram" from a Director over nonsense. 
Little to No room for advancement unless you kiss up and keep your real opinions to yourself.  
Best thing was being able to leave when needed without any issues and could modify schedule to ensure personal/family concerns were  taken care of as needed.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is close netted like  Family welcoming but very diverse. This helps one like myself meet the client and peers where they are and more techniques to help a situation thrive.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day would be to check in the morning address scheduled meeting following up with clients group facilitation program meeting at one last appointment after check in with staff to provide support where needed document and clock out.

Initially I thought I would actually be helping the consumers we service, it quickly became apparent that that wasn't the case. What became apparent was that management was more concerned with the bottom line than client care or the concerns of the staff. There is lack of training on all sides, management included. The letters behind one's name does not automatically give one the ability to manage a team of individuals, some of which have the same credentials, sometimes more. The bright spot is when you can actually help an individual or family despite the difficulties (behind the scenes) the staff person may go through.  

Won't say much, however like the summary says, it's what you make it.  You will either rise and stay there, or rise and rapidly fall.  You'll know where you stand, sometimes too late. Advocate for yourself, know your worth, and don't let anyone define you.  Let your work speak and take everything said with a dollop, not a grain of salt. 
Many times, you will be hearaled initially, only to fall due to self-demise or negative perceptions of you.  The bad part is that you may never know where you stand, nor who started it.  It can lead to a "dangling the carrot" situation that if you allow yourself to fall into it, will make you miserable.  There is true potential here, but there needs to be better definition of role. 

This company is concerned with the top management and no one else. They will fire you with no valid reasons and no notice. The staff lacks empathy and care, and being a company that provides mental health care, it should be top priority. Unless you are upper management, you are not treated the same. You will be moved around, placed in positions you did not ask for and were not asked if you would like, and you will be treated poorly for speaking up to anyone or standing up for what you believe if it goes against what upper management is concerned about. You are very replaceable. But you’ll get benefits and get paid. So choose what’s important to you. 

My typical day includes preparing lunch for the next day, light household duties, laundry, mopping, transporting clients to and from appointments, finishing up an administrative assigned duties before the ending of my shift.  My co-workers are team players and they are very professional and nice, and the hardest part of my job is sometimes leaving when it is time to go home.  The most enjoyable part of my job is connecting with everyone; although, our personalities are different.
