My experience with Westways Staffing has been absolutely exceptional from the start. From the moment I began the process, the team went above and beyond to fulfill every aspect of the agreement. Their welcoming and accommodating nature made me feel valued and supported right from the start.

Customer service has been top-notch, with regular check-ins and ensuring that I always had the support I needed. The hourly rate provided was fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous increment received after the completion of my contract.

My first day of resumption at IU health was awesome,I had anxiety related to been my first time but I was surprised the staff were loveable people,I was warmly welcome and they all gave me a sense of belongings,they made me see myself as part of the team.
They have a wonderful team to help me navigate around the computer and all my fear was alleyed .Been an international Nurse , there are many equipment have never seen in the course of my learning , I appreciate that I have opportunities to learn about them and their functions and also improve my nursing skills through numerous training in oracle learning portal for employees 
The management did a good job by providing us with free accommodations closer to my workplace and they did their best by making us comfortable and I really appreciate this good gesture.
Work place culture that I observed mostly is team work,they are ever ready to teach and assist.
The hardest part of the job for me is abbreviations and charting, there's lots to chart and lots of abbreviations that needs to be learned.
The most enjoyable part of the job is my paycheck,I am always happy when I receive my pay at the end of every week,it put a huge smile on my face .

Incompetent and disorganized would be the summary.   Sent to hospitals that weren't expecting me.   Delay in paperwork.   Not up to industry standard in requiring nurses to get their own physicals.   I find it interesting that one of the recruiters has the nerve to label the nurses as "needy".  Really. I guess we are needy when things don't get done properly.   I cannot stress enough how horrible this experience has been.   After the organization forced me to pay for my own physical.  (not industry standard) the hospital reportedly wouldn't accept it except on the Westways form.   So they had to re-send the form and have it completed again.  Yes the physical I paid for had to be re-done on their document. When I showed up for my assignment I was told they were not expecting me until next week. I than had to sit in 2 hours of traffic to come home and start to move out of my house.  I had other options and went with this company and they let me down.  Were it an avoidable situation I would understand but this situation was created from greed and incompetence.

This company hired me from overseas and helped with my NCLEX and green card processes. They are very helpful in that aspect. They have many jobs for new international nurses in many states. They also have a lot of travel positions for experienced nurses. Unlike other agencies that recruit international nurses, they don't deduct any penny from your pay for their profits. They get paid by the facilities. 

However, expectations about life in the US were not provided to us as new nurses. I think they need to tell new nurses about what life was like in the US (such as on health insurance and other general information). I never got oriented to life in the US, and stayed several months without being put on health insurance until I asked for it. 
I was also made to wait several weeks in between contracts at times, without hearing from them. Also, communication by some of the staffing personnel is horrible as they sometimes don't answer emails. 

Westways provides a well-organized and supportive work environment where employees are valued and encouraged to grow. A typical day is structured, efficient, and focused on delivering high-quality service. I learned a great deal about teamwork, accountability, and maintaining high professional standards. Management is approachable, responsive, and genuinely invested in staff success. The most enjoyable part is working with a dedicated team and feeling appreciated for the work being done.

What is the best part of working at the company?
A lot of favoritism and will withhold jobs from employee if they don't like something about you.  The favs never go without work while the others get the worst assignment and work less frequently. All is reserved for their favorites. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not knowing if you'll keep your assignments. They cancel you to send their favorites. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Cut throat.  Unless you are a favorite 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressed out wondering if I'll be working my assigned shifts or if they will give them away and cancel you depending on if one of the favs wants it. They frequently take you shifts and give them to their favorites and cancel you.

The compensation is fair and nearly identical to what my peers are getting for similar roles at other agencies. It is hard to describe a typical day of work because I work for a staffing agency, and every contract I has been different. The hardest part is not knowing if the facility I am going to is one that just needs someone to fill in temporarily to cover a maternity leave, or if it is one that has many problems and is entirely staffed by nurses from different agencies. I do feel supported by Westways Staffing, and I feel that Westways will help me if I encounter any problems with a contract.

    A typical day at work in westways is ussually enjoyable, I believe  I learnt alot in terms of my job,the  management is supportive and cares for its staff members,the workplace culture is accomodative,the hardest part of the job is dealing with emergencies and beating short deadlines,the most enjoyable part of the job is working with a company that makes you feel ownership.



This is a nurse staffing agency for Per Diem (day by day basis) and travel (Long term contract) nurses. My
duties include but not limited to recruiting potential nurses, keep in contact with the hospitals to see what their
staffing needs will be through out the day. There are a lot of different specialty of RN, that preferred per diem
work, and our job is find work for them based on the preference of hospital they would like to work at. There
is a lot more to it and its not a bad company to work for, they just need to communicate with their employer more to improve the work environment.

I discovered WestWays Staffing through instagram and quickly got started with processing. The processing time was quick and easy. My recruiter Mrs.Stephanie is really good and understanding. She is available when I need her! The pay for 36 hours a week is good, only con is the scheduling and pricing of hotels. Overtime is based on facilities availability but if you’re an experienced traveler then you know how that goes! Overall, I would take another assignment with WestWays Staffing. They offer different contracts for different positions.
