I have worked here for almost 3 years. I can truly say that this is the best job I have ever had! To be honest, it’s a career, not a job. You learn so many things working here and the more you know, the more you grow! My manager is kind, understanding, caring, all the while making sure that everything you do is for your benefit and that of the company! The pay is great, my hours are awesome! Plus, we get an hour lunch everyday!! I come to work and still have time for my family and fun! Plus, the paid vacation helps immensely with that! I don’t have to sacrifice family for taking care of my family! I am so thankful for the opportunity that I have been blessed with to work for such a wonderfuk company! The owners aren’t some executives that sit in an office and bark orders. They come talk to you everyday, share their lives and stories with you! They also take great interest in your family and your life! They truly care about you and want you to succeed, so whatever they can do to help you and make your life better, they are truly there for!! 
Just like any job in the customer service industry, you occasionally deal with unpleasant customers. But, the best part, if you can’t handle a situation, you have help all around you. Everyone is happy to jump in and help too! I do hate the fact that you are in such a remote place. You do get an hour for lunch, but it takes 20 minutes to get to my home... so 20 minutes there, 20 minutes back, that leaves 20 minutes to get food, eat it, do anything you HAVE to get done on lunch! But, if you stay on site for lunch, there is an amazing break room! You can play pool, watch satellite tv, free-play pinball machines. They provide multiple microwaves, refrigerators, coffee, and even a stove/oven! Yep, you read that right!!
All that said, I love my job! Thank you, Windows USA for everything you have done for me and my family!!!

This job for the most part is fantastic. Every sales person clears 10k plus a month. We have people who do 12k plus a WEEK! Windows USA produces millionaires. They are huge on growth and making money and do manufacture what I believe to be the best window system in America. The whole team from management, retail, finance, audit, etc are mostly friendly. There are only a handful of sour people. Life on the road is tough though. Generally your first appointment is at 11 am and they last 3 hours. I had as early as 8 am. However it could be 3 hours away from where you are. Often times you don’t get home until 12-1 at night. And most of the customers are really rude people with gross houses looking for a handout. But again, bad sales people do make over 100k a year. It’s more or less perfect for a single person with no obligations at home. You will put a lot of miles on your vehicle also. The training could be a lot better. It’s 2 weeks paid out in the field with a fellow sales individual. After training you will leave with an iPad Pro, window model, test kits, shirts and everything else required to do the job. They will definitely invest into the right person no doubt. Your success is everyone’s success. This is the only place I ever felt appreciated by an employer. Overall I’ve had a 7/10 experience.

The managers here are genuinely the most unprofessional & disrespectful people ever . I was constantly spoken to as if i was incompetent & cursed at  & like the original job posting wasn’t the actual job . For the referral department it’s literally cold calling , elderly people out of hopes they will want to refer names to us for $100 . The program works don’t get me wrong but only if their family & friends have the credit score & etc for it but they don’t know several times i was getting coached on not pushing hard enough ( they basically want you to get cursed out & not a simple no) & i was working at the office in Irving Texas & that truly was a horror show but i won’t go into full details , they constantly had payroll issues , didn’t have a set bonus rate & a actual manager on the floor for i believe 5 weeks ? I was pulled into the office for having the highest call counts of both areas but the lowest customer interaction and they insinuated i wasn’t calling and letting it ring , listened to a couple of my calls & found that i was calling all the way , the system they had just sucked & it was cold calling …. So yeah it was a dead end . They encouraged us alot but  as soon as we didn’t hit bonus or call interaction it was “ your making this harder then it needs to be”

The people who you communicate with over the phone are nice and respectful.   The leads that you get are horrible.  They are very poor folks either up in age or disabled.  They can't afford windows and 7 of 10 times can get credit approval.  The company referral department will send you on anything that they can book.  They don't care if the decision makers are present, recently replaced windows, other projects prevent buying windows, can't afford it, no credit..  They book anything.  The company doesn't care how far you drive for these dead leads.  They won't even let you call them which causes many many other issues and dead ends.  If you don't do a one call close and the buyer needs a little time before they buy, you get no commission.   They also cut your commission sometimes without giving documentation why.  The majority of the leads only care about receiving a 100 dollar gift card and have no interest in windows nor do they have credit.

I contracted for WUSA for 5 or 6 years, and loved it. Until they sold out controlling interest to a other company. That sellout immediately caused (I'm making an informed estimation) roughly 30 percent of the contractors working for them, to quit. Then they simply stopped giving contracts to the workers who had zero quality complaints or customer issues, if they decided that the contractor in question was moving slower than they liked. 
Pros: they offer a quality product and an outstanding warranty. They also have a great customer service rating. 
Cons: they made it clear that their contractors don't really matter to them, as individuals. Some few staff members are extremely hypocritical and back stabby, but also very good at BSing, so you never really know where you stand with them.

2 to 3 appointments of bad to fair credit with hopes the people actually are looking for windows and not just a 100 Walmart card. Lots of driving with no contact to customers. Call into the office for eachstep in the sales process. Depending on the intelligence of the customer is how much the windows cost. If they can't afford, the sales person has to call the office and get lower prices and plea for the customer saying this discount will never be around again. Not for everyone for sure, depends on morals. 

The personalities of leadership are awesome.  Leadership is great when it comes to energy dynamics.  I would absolutely recommend them to work for.  The short comings are the tech aspect and overall training.  Motivation is a huge key in a production driven industries but they need to ensure they give their people the necessary tools to be successful. Leadership does not prioritize resolving / finding solutions for tech issues.  

A typical work day-

We’ll first thing is he works when he wants! Giving the family more time than he did at any other job! He makes more money and works less.

Management-

Ive over heard my husband on the phone with his managers and they are literally at his begging call if he needs anything or has any questions or concerns even. 

Hardest part of the job-

When the appointments are scheduled late in the day then of course he may be out a little later than a normal job.

Most enjoyable part of the job-

Being able to work less than 40hrs. And being able to bring in $10,000+ a WEEK!


Company takes no accountability for bad leads, there are a lot! Constant harassing text messages from managment and mandatory meetings that you're not paid for but expected to attend on your days off. Every no sale is the reps fault and more than half the leads are finance declined. Absolutely zero work life balance. If you're looking for a 10-99 contract job where you have no home life and are treated like a W2 employee with none of the benefits, this is the place for you!

What is the best part of working at the company?
The work was steady. And nothing was ever mundane about the jobs.

The most stressful part is the people you have to deal with at the company. They are out of touch with reality.

Stressful and constant pressure to get the jobs completed.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Fast paced and unpredictable. I didn’t enjoy contracting at this company at all.
