This position gave me and insight to diversity and leadership.	Conduct regular performance appraisals with employees. 
Carry out disciplinary action and dismissal. Establish and maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, employees, sales consultant, owners, supervisor 
Coordinate details related to move-ins and move-outs. Coordinate sales activity with the Social director, and the Marketing Director to provide continuing sales. Assist in sales activities as requested by corporate marketing. Ensure continuity and consistency in delivery and quality of services. 
Assess residents' functional status and social, psychological, and spiritual needs 
Assure that assistance plans are completed and arrange services and support to meet resident needs .
Refer residents to community-based services and medical services as necessary. 
Implement approaches and services to maintain or enhance resident independence. 
Assume final determination on eligibility for residency. 
Develop and maintain documentation in resident files pertaining to problems/progress. 
Documentation must be complete, thorough, detailed and objective. 
Initiate action plans and family conferences for resolving problems. 
Initiate resident/family conferences when a change of service level is required. 
Document goals and action plans and review dates on appropriate forms. 
Maintain high degree of resident satisfaction and evaluate resident satisfaction regularly. 
Implement programs and changes to enhance resident satisfaction with approval of supervisor. 
Maintain occupancy. Visit all residents in a private meeting on monthly basis. 
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as directed by supervisor. 
Assist in preparation of the budget. Operate programs and facility within budget. 
Coordinate financial activity with the Administrative Assistant to ensure proper management of receivables payables, bank deposits, petty cash accounts and Resident Trust Accounts. Coordinate purchasing activities with department managers to ensure proper supplied. Maintain and upgrade knowledge and implementation of standards and requirements specified by federal and state laws. Promote Salem Senior Housing and Salem Senior Housing in a positive way. Promote teamwork in providing 
services to residents.

I am a very optomistic person by nature so most days have been great work days.  I love the people I've worked with.  I enjoy meeting new clients, patients, and staff when new hires come aboard.  
I love knowing that I've played a part in helping our patients at the cancer center get through a difficult time in their life.  I am big on customer service and integrity.  I believe in treating others as you desire to be treated.  My supervisors have all been helpful in my endeavors inside and outside of work.  We all have at some time or another "been there" to help aide in a family crisis.  I say that yet still knowing how to keep business business and personal life personal.  It has been a very caring company to work for. Confidentiality is a must with most companies and respecting the privacy of others was priority. For now I want to travel and meet new people once again.  I love life and I plan on living it to the fullest.  I am eager to learn and also teach.  I am a very patient person but ready to take that next step in life. The hardest part of any of my jobs was having to reprimand someone.  I have been a supervisor so needing to correct someone was at times challenging but I always knew it was for the best so doing it was the only option available. I've learned to appreciate every minute we live this life. Working at a cancer center has humbled me and heightened my sense of humility and gratitude. For this and everyday I am truly thankful!

Analyzed the causes of delinquency, value of property, debt to income ratio, performed an analysis to establish a strategy to bring the account current, negotiate a settlement of debt or commence a legal action and or start 
short sale and close deal. 
	Presented recommendations (asset plan) in a clear and concise manner to the respective team lead as to an appropriate course       
Monitored all established payment plans and pending exit strategies to ensure conclusion. Properly documented and maintained on-line collection history for all accounts as to the reason for any delinquency along with all other relevant information.  
Maintained exception reports to keep the referral level to a minimum.

Working for ComForcare Homecare is very satisfying, in that you know you're helping to enrich a senior citizen's life by helping with activities of daily living, taking them to activities they wouldn't ordinarily be able to attend, and being there for company and companionship. I learned that being a senior citizen is not always easy, but I've also learned that seniors are a remarkable group of people; they've seen and experienced many things that we, as younger people, could always learn from. My co-workers are always willing to accommodate needed changes in schedules, and are always pleasant and compassionate. The hardest part of the job is when a client's health declines; the easiest part of the job is being with the client, interacting with him or her, and assisting with whatever appropriate needs they have.

*Create Bill Of Lading for the truck drivers 
* Communicate with the Port Authority and trucking company letting them know how many containers were needed and if Med or Maersk containers were the carriers 
* Ensure that the loaders didn't over load hopper cars or the containers 
* Communicate with railroad about the hopper car (how many cars needed or where to ship the hopper car and also when were we going to receive the hopper car back to location) 
* Programs that were used: SAP (PRC) is used for creating BOL and inputting the weight for hopper cars or containers, it also contains where it is going and the hopper car or container ID number 
* Ship System is used to ship any of the products out of the system to have an accurate account of inventory 
* Inspection needed to be done on every hopper car and container prior to products being loaded 
* Program Mas 500 is used to handle inventory

Being a sales associate was nice. I enjoyed helping people with their clothes and sales/bargins. My co-workers and I were like one big happy family. Then our old manager had to leave us. Our new manager did not make the store as enjoyalbe as it was before. She came with a bad attitude.
I enjoyed being a daycare provider and having fun creating a helpful learning atmosphere. Some things had started to go wrong. Some parents were not happy about the daycare and how she treated us as teachers and asked us about how she acts when their children are here. I enjoyed working with the children and getting to know the co-workers also.
The summer camps were fun and exciting. The children seemed to get out of hand for while. But the all the teachers (co-workers) pitched in and did their job.I enjoyed interacting with the children and how much fun they had learning and playing.

A typical day working in Philanthropic Services includes reviewing account cash balances, distributions and overdrafts. Ensuring accurate administration over Foundations, Charitable Remainder Trusts and Charitable Organizations are the responsibilities of each administrator. Understanding the tax benefits, tax consequences, and entity types is the most challenging part of the job. However, the most enjoyable part is seeing how charities are supported by other charities to care and provide financial aid to the communities that need the most assistance. Co-workers were transparent, trustworthy and caring folks. Management was fair in allowing one to maintain a good balance between work and life issues that arises.

I really enjoyed my 8 years at The Winston Group. I had awesome bosses that kept me very busy. Everyday was different for the most part. The hardest part of the job was not getting formal management and not knowing exactly who to answer to. There was no 401K plan which I think is important to offer all employees as a benefit. It was a wonderful experience where I learned a lot about dealing with all sorts of different personalities. This position is certainly not for everyone but it was great for me. My successor however, called me often and was very unhappy with the positions and did not understand how I dealt with many of the situations that seemed normal to me.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Interesting merchandise, the location was pleasant, however they closed without notice after six months.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I was not sure the store would deliver merchandise ordered by customers.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
One saleswoman was extremely pushy and the customers in Palm Beach are cautious of that manner. She would often cut in front to help customers & the customers notice that, and would comment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I no longer work there. The store closed in June’22 with three days notice. I believe they opened in another location recently.

Every morning began with a prayer circle. Seemed as if the day went smoother and better at this particular place of employment. Co workers were friendly, helpful and just all around different. I learned that not all Northerners are rude and mean; as I was taught in the South. The hardest part of my job was learning a new technology that was being integrated into our system that failed, didn't work or was changed to a different system on a daily basis. I loved going into work everyday, it wasn't a job it was enjoyment, family, great memories which made my career as a travel nurse that more rewarding.
