Womens Care

A typical day of work at WCF consisted of going over each doctor's schedule and making sure every patients insurance was previously verified for their upcoming appointment.

From there you would work through the doctors' preplanned week and make calls to insurance companies to verify a patients insurance policy, copay, deductibles and out of pocket expenses. 

They coworkers are clique-y and stay within their respective department but mostly friendly.

Management is decent, but definitely felt like insurance was put on the back burner in favor of other departments. 

They company does well to show thanks for the employees catering lunch often and offering holiday themed parties or potlucks as well as baby showers for expecting mothers that work at the practice.

My day typically started as soon as we turned the phones over from the answering service. We worked on the calls from the service and responded to the patients with assistance from the correct department. The doctors are patient with their employees and the patients. They are teaching doctors and enjoy sharing the knowledge and experience they have gained. The culture is team oriented and patient first and foremost. At times the difficult part of the job is catching up on your tasks. My favorite part of the job is assisting the patient and the doctor to be successful in a positive centric outcome for the patient.

Staff is nice, but if you are not friends with the right people in the office, you will be watched by the doctors and managers like your under surveillance. They will act like they like you to your face and be scheming behind your back. Even when you say nothing and do your job you still do something wrong. They are unorganized and all over the place. They need more staff in the office preferably actual managers that do managerial duties not other people’s job. There meetings are a waist of time and contradicting, too many chiefs not enough Indians. No one takes responsibility for their wrong doing or actions.

There are some pros, but unfortunately they don't outweigh the cons.  There needs to be some major improvements to communication and morale overall in the office.  Company wide, could be improvements in compensation and benefits.  There is no separate PTO, Sick days, or Holiday pay.  Holidays are deducted all at one time in the beginning of the year.  Management tries their best to be fair.

Need time off? They won’t give it to you because they have favorites and managers are always off. 
Need help? Can’t ask a manager because they don’t even know what they are doing half the time. 
Can’t ask for a day off because they will guilt trip you and talk down on you. 
Give you 10 task a day and get upset if you’re overwhelmed.
Short staff benefits suck and only 4 hours of pto every paycheck that you can never use

All over the place and not very professional 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Reception, call center, scanning, medical revords requests.

I was only there for a few months and it was honestly the best company I’ve worked for, but it was so busy and there wasn’t enough ma’s that you’re usually working two providers most days. The pay wasn’t bad, you get every major holiday off and paid. I only left for some health issues and I wanted a change from the medical field. 

The workplace culture encouraged team collaboration. In a typical day at work we treated many patients. I enjoyed the work process to triage the patients as they came into the office. Setting up the lab, autoclave instruments, prepare sterile trays were the most time consuming.

Busy schedules with women of child bearing years, young adults and older women with gynecological needs. The hardest part of my job was delivering the patient care that all my patients deserved with maintaining an on time schedule.

The office had gone without an office administrator for almost a year so the atmosphere was chaotic. We were short staffed and when we had an issue that needed to be addressed there was no one t assist us.
