During your interview, you will be met with kind words and friendly faces. They will tell you how wonderful the company is, and how easy is it is to advance. Using wording such as "Your lead used to be in a customer service position too!"

You get assigned to an account quickly once hired, however, the pay is very low for the work expected of you. Training is non-existent, and you are expected to figure everything out on your own using poorly written instructions.

Very quickly, you will realize that opportunities for advancement do not come with ease, no matter how good you are at your job. Any raises received are so small they don't make a difference. Wages are no where near liveable. 

You are assigned extra tasks constantly, and overtime is not an option. Everything about working for this company was disappointing and their tactics are dishonest. 

It is bittersweet that I find myself searching for a new position-- I love wrrk, the people, and the culture-- but there is no longer room for me to grow. I have met sales targets but I haven't been able to grow as an individual. A typical day would start at 10am and end around 4-5pm and usually consisted of me reaching out to growing co's and offering to take over their customer support. 

The CEO is the best boss I've probably had since graduating college -- he is open minded to new ideas and understands when life happens. The workplace was extremely fun and lax and at the same time productive.

The high was definitely meeting sales targets and seeing the company as a whole grow -- the low is that we are growing fast and seem to not have enough time to get to everyone -- which is a great problem to have.

I have learned how to work independently and not be micro-managed.

I was laid off - Out of nowhere. Not only that but they brought up something from December that I was never talked to about until over a month later. If it was that big of an issue - it should have been dealt with immediately. Not to mention, they only took one persons word for it and that person took my words out of context and ran with it. I never felt appreciated or acknowledged. They told me that they didn't have any work for me- and that since I had been there less time than others I was the one that had to go. Yet - I was the one that knew the account that I was on and they decided to train someone else and then let me go right in the middle of the shift. 

Despite being with the company for several years and being flexible regardless of the schedule or client they would ask me to work, due to company-related financial concerns, I was laid off without notice mid-day. Management was very helpful in explaining my next steps, and I certainly understand they surely would not want to be in a position to have to lay off employees, however, job security is immensely lacking.

Very nice place to work - the people are wonderful: supportive, encouraging, fun, and friendly! The work itself varies in degrees of difficulty depending on the client you are assigned to. Their clients are mostly start-ups and support is provided through phone, email, and chat. The management is very hands-on and understanding. Just wish the pay was better.

This company is full of amazing people and had the best culture I've found - even amongst in-person jobs. The compensation has been questionable for entry level positions and room for growth is not where it could be but please remember that this company is still growing and has the ability to be one of the best out there. I'd say that if you are not solely relying on your own job for support (have dual income) and are looking for a company you can invest in and really be part of the growth, then this is the place for you. 

The job itself and the people are great, but the 'top heavy' management structure doesn't leave much in the budget for entry level and lower mgmt. advancement opportunities, which aren't really transparent. For example, they post a management position, then hire from outside to fill it. That happened twice while I was there.  

The amount of work you are expected to complete just to meet expectations for minimum pay is unrealistic. They constantly push managers to take on more work and ask the same of their team members but they do not give you decision-making power nor budgets to incentivize. Lack of investment also leads to losing clients 
(and more stress) because hard work on its own cannot make up for subpar technology and over allocated teams.

The job was okay, you go with a certain client and type emails up, pay is low but its very easy work so if you are someone who is going through a traumatic situation or are just trying to enter the workforce, a lot of these jobs are very low stress, even though they are usually short contracts, they are something to get some money in your pocket 

I loved working for the company! Everything I did was email only, no phone calls. I was able to tend to my child while I was working. This is the first company that I have worked for where management was decent and very helpful.
