Xperi has a decent management team, but the company faces layoffs twice a year (March & October), which raises concerns about long-term stability. Unless Xperi invests in innovation and boosts product sales, this cycle may continue.

The workplace culture is fragmented—Xperi is a company made up of many mergers, yet these teams still operate in silos with little effort to integrate, even within the same line of business.

The hardest part of the job is driving innovation. Many employees focus on job security rather than improving processes, leading to inefficiencies and resistance to change. A prime example is the existence of four different in-house content-matching solutions in one business unit, while external vendors still handle manual matching due to system limitations.

On the positive side, the company provides solid insurance benefits, and Confluence is widely used for documentation, making it easier to track information.

Overall, Xperi has potential, but without better integration and a focus on innovation, growth may remain stagnant.

It is the people that make the workplace a joy.  Most people here are great, unfortunately some departments are not.  This may be different now.  Workplace culture is open and fun.  They provide excellent tuition reimbursement and good compensation for jobs.  I learned a great deal in the type of work I did and was exposed to new things that expanded my skills. I was given a great deal of responsibility, a bit too much in some cases because manpower was required but not provided in many situations.  There was headbutting with some coworkers and I leave that to the fault of management not creating a level of authority between workers but at the end, a great place to work.

Normal routine and helping users

Long hours, low pay, poor management and no advancement. You would have so much work you'd have to stay after and then the only solution they offer is overtime. Thats only nice at first. After a year of it, its not so nice.

Having to take on various different roles due to recent layoffs

A nice place to work. Compensation package is very competitive including medical, 401K plan and insurance benefits. Healthy lifestyle is promoted and fitness gym is located in-house.

the company overall is a great place to work and has a strong team behind it.  Xperi has it's issues, but most companies have their issues.  Overall, I would recommend working here.

The company seems to have focused on areas that have little to do with increasing efficiency and increasing stock value.    More concerned about social well-being than the stock price.

Was a high-volume, busy work life. Surrounded by an amazing AP Team. You are trained a lot on AP processes and get to work with many people of different personalities.
