When I first got this job I LOVED it. Slowly it has become a numbers game and each day grows larger workloads with larger amounts of micromanaging. You seldom are told you have done a good job, unless you are overworking yourself to the point of burn out. There is no consistency in the caseload and despite having a good team lead for LPNs , upper management does not care for the concerns but instead reiterates production.  I have watched people mysteriously leave since starting here , coworkers that I liked, and some of which I talked to afterwards and they told me the company let them go very quietly rather than even communicate to them after so much time was put in. It shows how you really are just a number to this company. It is no longer a family atmosphere and I will be glad when I can find another job. Trust me you don’t want to clock into this kind of environment every day. No one is trustworthy and if you tell leadership about a concern they tell everyone what you shared in group chats. Stay away!

Medical Assistants, Nurse Practitioners work M-F 8-5. Medics work 7a to 7p schedule 7 days a week with overtime available for after-hours patient encounters. You can not control patient volume. Some clinics only see a few patients a day while others see 20-30+ and don't get a lot of rest at night. Great place to improve your clinical skills and learn additional skills. Telemedicine Physicians are fantastic to work with and understand the limits of skills and abilities. Management frequently has poor communication with its employees and ignores complaints from its employees until disaster strikes. Employees bicker frequently, some employees have no respect for authority or the chain of command, laugh and make jokes about being disciplined. If you are not a medic or not friends with someone in the office be prepared to be harassed, belittled daily until you quit or walk away. When you report the issues to management be prepared for management to turn the entire problem around and not address the actual problem or employee causing the problems.

Some of the personnel are amazing to work with however ineffective management inhibits productivity in almost every aspect. There are constant shortages of basic supplies. Low-Level Management & Site Lead personnel are atrociously unprofessional and engage in demonstrably unprofessional activities & discussions. In addition to operating with a conflict of interests siding against the patient. 

In the position I have we work 14 day on and 14 days off.  they train you good and make you feel confident that you can  work with confidence.  paid training. The Doctors and management care about you and help you out when needed. this company has many jobs around the world also.  The pay is great for what we do and insurance is on average for the industry.  

Love this company. They are organized and make everything so easy for Paramedics. Fantastic Doctors and support staff. If you happen to be unhappy at a certain location they have no problem moving you. When I have made errors they were patient and took their time teaching me how to correct or modify,

Managment is just that ‘Managers’ they can not lead. Support staff also have no clue of their job duties. You are expected to where many mask while support staff does minimum work. Work place politics are very stressful. 

Overall concept is good. The head doctors seem like good people, who generally try their best. Middle management and other departments are stuck in high school, everyone is trying to kiss butt, look better then each other, and generally fake backstabbers.  No matter what you think don’t trust anyone, not the trainer, not your manager, no one. If you have other options with better pay, and benefits  take it.

Some staff who were not my supervisor were in cliques with some. Fortunately my department was not a member. Was I interested in joining committees within the company to make working for Xstreme a little more fun and family oriented, and was I interested in leading certain committees.

Middle management was horrible. Accepted job and had to sign a contract that required us to work off a remote paramedic class, that was required to work there. Was never told of this before taking job. Was put on my credit after quiting. Left because the promise of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off was an utter lie.

Doctors are great to work with, actually best part of job was talking with doctors, management within the office will not back you as an employee. One person in general is the biggest problem, if he wasn’t there, this would be the best job ever. He is a weasel.
