I do not recommend working here. I was taken advantage of and was underpaid, undervalued, and overworked. The company is very disorganized with a lack of standardization that makes it stressful to be onboarded. The company as a whole felt directionless and the longer I worked in this position, the more miserable I became.

There are a lot of good people at this company that I did enjoy interacting with, but they do not offset the owner. I found that leadership is greedy and vindictive and  cared more about squeezing money out of me than me as a person.

As I left, the employer asked me to work an extra week on top of my two weeks notice that I gave in order to fulfill the requirements laid out in the handbook. I told him I would. I found out that I will not be payed out my vacation time because I did not explicitly request it within 30 days of when I put in my resignation. This is despite the fact we had discussed me working that extra week explicitly to satisfy the handbook requirements. 

Be careful working here as I found it to be a toxic environment and manipulative.

I got thrown into a lot of tasks that I was unfamiliar with. I did not get any training ahead of time. When I got a review about my work, It was about tasks that I spent maybe 20% of my time on. I worked in the warehouse and as a field technician. I'll admit, I was classically disgruntled by the time I was let go. I am fairly sure that there is a yearly "cleaning house" procedure each fall, which i witnessed and was a victim of. I will say, I had a pretty serious issue with one coworker, but it was worked out. I would say that the owner does not handle stress well. He will be really cool and then snap at you over something small. I got cussed out for ringing the bell to get let into the loading dock at what was clearly an inconvenient time for him. I will say several of the engineers, the rest of the technicians, and the salesmen were all pretty great people to work with. I learned a lot, but I am no longer upset that I don't work there. I was going to leave anyways. 

They are only looking for people to work there less than 90 days so they dont have to give you benefits.  If you get this job and want to keep it, tell them you dont want the benefits.  Or you can tell them that you are willing to do work for them as a sub contractor.  Also, the company requires you to buy over $600 in tools which you will NOT be compensated for. Your quality of work is not accurately monitored or reported so they can make up anything they want about your quality of work.   Some managers are very confrontational and rude.  Expect 45-200 minute drives to work every day in a company van that has NOT been properly maintained or even checked for safety. Employee discount on AV equipment is inaccessible when asked for. There are much more reliable and pleasant places to work for in the area that offer better pay and less social politics

Being in sales I spent a portion of my day speaking with clients about projects and in trying to find new project.  I would work with our technical staff on guidelines and thoughts.  We would have 20+ projects going on at a time and so there was always a lot of juggling.  Some days were hectic, but that is the nature of the industry and overall I enjoyed it.

The company has good dedicated employees and wants to do big important jobs.  It feels a little mom and pop and corporate at the same time, but it isn't bad.  Decisions are made quickly and I or my clients never had delays that many larger companies experienced.

I thought comp was fine, could have been better and could have been worse.  They recently put in a car allowance for sales that was very nice.  My wife took a job in Florida otherwise I would still be there.

The good things I remember. Good coworkers, clients and challenging work. There was something to learn everyday as you are exposed to new products to support. My favorite part of my day was resolving a concern for our clients.
The bad areas were many. Poor compensation because of "adjustments" that were done. It benefitted the company and negatively affected the employee. High employee turnover was the result of poor workplace culture. Micro managing was abundant. The practice often affected efficient performance of job duties.
Basically, a small company with a big company feel.

Worst employer I've ever experienced. Company has no diversity, and some coworkers are condescending to those who don't work to their level of expertise. Owner claims training and tools are provided, but other than a few job specific items. They are not. was made to feel like i would be properly trained, but was thrown into the field with angry coworkers that did not want to train, and ridiculed for things you didn't know. direct supervisor is not in same city, and they have no HR department to file claims..Do not expect proper training, and will be expected to know most everything, despite. OSHA Ladder protocols are disregarded. Forced to Worked in several conditions, i feared for my safety.

The company was once a pleasure to work for before ownership changed. After that event, the atmoshere slowly became very unhealthy. Intimidation, micro managing and adjustments to limit compensation were major issues. I enjoyed working with my coworkers and serving our many clients who became friends over the years.Unfortunately, micro managing often interfered with efficient production of everyday duties.
.Most successful companies realize that their employees are their single biggest asset. Unfortunately, I did not see that.

Being right out of college this is my first ‘real’ job and I have learned so much.  I help our salespeople out with quotes, do basic drawings, and interact with clients.  I attend lunch and learns, do marketing work, and attend our annual show.  I get a lot of exposure to different parts of our business nd I really enjoy my coworkers.

iVideo is stable.  We haven’t had layoffs and grow smartly – no Covid impact.  I wanted a company to work for my entire career and I have that.  I like my co-workers, my boss, our clients, and really everyone I come in contact with.  I know my job requirements and I can handle them.  If there is an issue I can bring it up with my boss.  I appreciate the openness.

Owner is often angry and cruel towards his employees. Even over the smallest issues he will lose his temper and fly off the rails. Pay is terrible too. 

Most of the other employees are nice and have a "we're all in this together" mentality. 

If you take this job, get as much money up front as possible. Yearly raises are a joke.

Wouldn't recommend working here overall.
