Job Description
Live Steam Locomotives LLC is looking for a skilled Machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform tasks of all kinds. You will be responsible for operating:
- Manual and CNC Lathes
- Manual and CNC Mills
- Grinding and finishing
- Product assembly and packing
- Welding is a plus but not required.
This position would be involved in product and procedure development.
The goal is to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all operations in order to produce high-quality products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up machines for operation.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines in order to ensure the safety of the employees and the customers.
- Check the quality of products before finalizing them for shipment.
- Keep an updated inventory of all materials used in production.
- Keep workstations clean and organized at all times.
- Assist in maintaining equipment in good condition.

- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience
- Proven experience as machinist or other similar roles.
- CNC machines are Tormach with Path Pilot
- Knowledge of various machines and their operation.
- Good manual dexterity and great attention to detail.
- Ability to follow all health and safety guidelines in order to ensure the safety of the employees and the customers.
- High school diploma or GED; Trade or vocational school degree is a plus
This is a part time position with very flexible hours. Work as little or as much as you want. perfect for retirees or military.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 – 20.0 per week
