Full Job Description

WHO WE ARE AND WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Louka's is a growing, locally owned food cart business and we are expanding our operations.

We are looking for skilled, motivated and reliable line cooks and prep cooks that can work as a team and independently.

You must have recent line experience, food safety knowledge and decent knife skills to be considered for this position.

We are looking for people who are excited about cooking, who know how to provide excellent service and who want to be part of an awesome, talented, diverse and respectful kitchen crew.

You must be willing and able to perform all expected tasks that regularly occur in a busy commercial kitchen.

Our scratch-made menu is centered around European comfort food featuring local high-quality products.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
2 years of recent line cooking in high-volume commercial kitchen. Experience, willingness and comfort interacting with customers and handling cash and computer systems.

SHIFT AVAILABLITY:
4-5 days per week with a mix of evening and morning shifts. Shifts are typically 6-8hrs each. We avoid scheduling closing shifts before opening shifts. Earliest start is 8AM. Latest close is 10:30.

INTERVIEW PROCESS:
Qualified applicants will be called for a brief phone interview. Based on this call, we'll schedule a time with you onsite for a brief working interview. Final round candidates will work a paid service/shift with the crew.
