Job Title: Production Worker

Location: Georgetown KY

Shift: 1st shift Monday - Thursday 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Pay: $14.50 w/$0.50 differential based on department

What you'll do:

Production Workers will support manufacturing operations in Assembly or Utility departments within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Assembly Department:
- Assemble packaging materials including corrugated paper, wooden pallets, cardboard boxes and foam products.
- Operate hand tools such as staple guns, glue guns, sonic welders and glue rollers
- Quality inspecting
- Check incoming stock
- Ensure Load tags, Finished and Component Inventories are accurate.
- Monitor and record all waste off work cell on Production Schedule.
- Use computer/keyboard to document complete project information in the system
Utility Department:
- Providing support to the machine operator and production crew
- Work on various machines such as: Rotary Die Cutter, One Cut Die Cutter, Flexo Folder Gluer, Post Folder Gluer, Jumbo, and Automation Stitcher, Taper Gluer, Flatbed Die Cutter, Atom Die Cutter, Honeycomb Die Cutter, Coaters and Laminator, Slitters, Band Saw, and Post Sonic Welders.
- Meet key operational goals
- Efficiently setup the machine.
- Troubleshooting quality issues.
- Unitize material to customer specifications.
- Check incoming stock against specs prior to machine setup.
- Monitor all waste off machine and notify Operator if waste levels are excessive.
- Monitor the machine for potential maintenance issues.
- Participate in TPS activities and tools including Kaizen events, as needed and required.
- Assist in the training process for all new helpers.
- Work with the Finishing Operator to learn how to effectively operate the machine.
- Ensure that the machine and its surrounding area are properly cleaned at the end of each shift.
- Use computer/keyboard to document complete project information in the system
- Also will perform other duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Must comply with client’s substance abuse & background policy
Must have Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Must have Basic Computer and Data Entry skills.
Must be able to use Hand tools, staple guns, glue guns, sonic welders
Must be able to read a tape measure
