Full Job Description

We are seeking a Primary Care / Internal Medicine physician to provide flexible telehealth coverage for a rapidly growing healthcare organization serving patient populations across multiple states.

This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor opportunity designed for physicians who are comfortable practicing in a telehealth setting and interested in consistent, recurring patient-care hours.

Compensation

$140–$175 per hour, depending on experience, availability, and number of active state licenses.

Physicians licensed in multiple target states may qualify for higher compensation and expanded scheduling opportunities.

State Licensure

We are interested in physicians currently licensed, or willing to obtain licensure, in multiple states including:

Arizona
New Mexico
Washington
Colorado
Montana
California
Oregon

Physicians currently licensed in several of these states are strongly encouraged to apply.

Schedule

We are looking for physicians who can provide consistent, recurring telehealth coverage.

Scheduling may include:

Half-day or full-day coverage
Multiple days per week depending on availability
Flexible recurring schedules
Opportunity to increase hours as patient volume grows

Responsibilities

You will provide synchronous primary care through phone visits.

Responsibilities may include:

Evaluating and treating acute and chronic conditions
Preventive care
Medication management
Ordering and reviewing laboratory testing
Ordering and reviewing imaging
Managing ongoing treatment plans
Coordinating specialist referrals when appropriate
Documenting patient encounters within the organization’s existing telehealth platform

Qualifications

MD or DO
Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or another applicable primary care specialty
Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
Comfortable providing care in a fully remote telehealth environment
Comfortable conducting patient visits by phone
Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage patients independently in a virtual setting
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively within an established telehealth and clinical workflow
Reliable internet connection and appropriate private workspace for telehealth care

Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.

Experience practicing telemedicine or virtual primary care is preferred but not required.

Experience with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is a plus.
