Job Description:
Selah Music Studio is looking for a passionate and experienced Part-Time Music Teacher to lead group parent/child music classes using the Children’s Music Academy franchise curriculum, as well as provide private music instruction (piano, voice, or similar instrument).
This is a great opportunity for an educator who enjoys working with children and families in a joyful, supportive studio environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging group music classes for young children and parents
- Provide high-quality private music lessons (piano, voice, or similar)
- Communicate with parents professionally and positively
- Maintain a structured and fun learning environment
- Follow established curriculum and lesson plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field
OR
- 5+ years of experience teaching music to children
- Strong proficiency in piano, voice, or a similar instrument
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Comfort working with both individuals and groups
- Must be reliable, enthusiastic, and organized
Schedule:
- Part-time
- Flexible hours with a mix of weekday mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings
