Position Summary
A Motorcycle Parts Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers and technicians by identifying, sourcing, and selling Harley-Davidson and aftermarket motorcycle parts and accessories. This role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for motorcycles to ensure every rider gets the right part, the right fit, and the best experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person, on the phone, and online with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Accurately identify parts and accessories using catalogs, digital systems, and technical resources.
- Maintain knowledge of Harley-Davidson parts, aftermarket options, and current promotions.
- Process sales, returns, and special orders efficiently through the dealership’s DMS/POS system.
- Support the service department by ensuring technicians receive the correct parts in a timely manner.
- Maintain parts displays, organize inventory, and monitor stock levels to maximize sales opportunities.
- Upsell and cross-sell related parts and accessories to enhance customer purchases.
- Assist in receiving, tagging, and stocking incoming shipments.
- Build long-term customer relationships through trust, product expertise, and follow-up.
- Stay current with new product releases and participate in ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in motorcycle, automotive, or powersports parts sales preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and aftermarket upgrades a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail and service environment.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Positive attitude, team player, and a passion for motorcycles.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift and move parts or boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in retail and shop environments.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
