Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server (Part Time) to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback professionally
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or dining restaurant environment preferred; Hibachi Grill experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.
- Prior experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or hospitality is advantageous.
