Automotive Store Manager - Tire & Full-Service Repair
$120,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Quarterly Bonuses
5- day work week | 7 AM -5 PM | Closed Sundays & Holidays
State Tire & Auto Centers is a family-owned, independent auto repair company with multiple locations in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We are the only repair facilities in the area to earn the prestigious ASE Blue Seal of Excellence in 2024, 2025 & 2026. Our shops are modern, well-equipped, and focused on delivering high-quality work in a professional manner. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tire and Automotive Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our service center in Brick Township, NJ.
About the Role
As Store Manager, you will have full ownership of daily operations, sales, performance, and team leadership. This is a true leadership role – not just a supervisory position. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid understanding of automotive services. This role requires interacting with customers and selling tires and automotive service work.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell automotive services such as oil changes, preventative maintenance, tires, alignments, brakes, diagnostics and repairs
- Oversee daily store operations and technicians workflow
- Monitor performance metrics to drive sales and operational efficiency
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a “Tire & Automotive” Store Manager or Senior Assistant Manager
- An upbeat people person who enjoys talking to customers and building relationships
- Solid mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair and tire sales
- Proven ability to drive sales and hit performance goals
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable making decisions
We are looking for the best in the business, an individual who has "exceptional people skills”, and is motivated to expand and grow with our store. This is a salaried position with additional quarterly bonuses for store performance. $120,000 Salary plus Bonus. - Bonus potential unlimited.
