RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting in treating the evaluations created by OT and providing appropriate treatment to reach goals for residents
- Continued support of goal achievement
- Helping patients in their restoration of wellness and independence
- Communication with other personnel involved in the patient’s care to promote a coordinated care plan
- The application of various therapeutic techniques to help achieve goals
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Associates
- Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania
- Long-term care experience preferred
