Overview
This is a part-time position to fill our Tuesday and Wednesday schedule. Two full days from 8:00AM to 5:00PM and possible additional days . We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize 3D scanning technology for accurate imaging and impressions.
- Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records as a dental receptionist when required.
- Assist in endodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic according to health regulations.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and general oral hygiene practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in general dentistry practices.
- Knowledge of dental systems and software is beneficial for efficient patient management.
- Proficiency in taking X-rays and using 3D scanners will be highly regarded.
