Castle Country Veterinary Clinic in Price, Utah is looking for a compassionate, dependable Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:50 AM–5:30 PM.
Pay: $13–$15 per hour, depending on experience.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
- Prepare animals for surgery and monitor patients as directed
- Administer medications and vaccinations under veterinary supervision
- Safely restrain and handle patients during examinations and procedures
- Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and other medical information
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment and surgical environment
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with other daily clinic duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passion for animal health and welfare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Veterinary experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and committed to providing excellent care.
