The Logistics Associate is a cross-functional team member responsible for supporting all areas of logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, material handling, and special projects. This role serves as a flexible resource within the department, providing coverage and support wherever business needs are greatest. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of learning and performing a variety of logistics functions while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities

Support daily operations across all logistics functions, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, replenishment, and warehouse activities.

Assist with inbound and outbound shipments, including picking, packing, staging, loading, unloading, and documentation.

Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and products.

Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation activities.

Assist with material movement and replenishment to support production and operational requirements.

Support labeling, product identification, inventory organization, and warehouse housekeeping initiatives.

Participate in cross-functional projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives as assigned.

Provide coverage for team members during absences, vacations, training, or periods of increased workload.

Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures across all logistics functions.

Assist in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and workflow throughout the department.

Learn and maintain proficiency in multiple logistics processes and systems to maximize operational flexibility.

Perform other logistics and warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Required

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Basic computer and data entry skills.

Ability to lift and move materials up to [50] pounds regularly.
Preferred
-
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics operations.

Experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, or inventory management software (NetSuite preferred).

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Experience working in multiple functional areas within a logistics or operations environment.
