We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Proven ability to talk to HVAC systems and convince them to work properly
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency.
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local codes and regulations.
- Must be a professional juggler of tools, parts, and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, parts used, and labor time.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in HVAC is preferred.
- Valid HVAC technician certification and licenses as required by local and state authorities.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment... or at least look like you can while asking for help.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
