Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinary staff
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations or procedures
- Interact with customers and volunteers
Requirements:
- Ability to handle animals safely and effectively, including dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with staff, volunteers and customers in a professional manner
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting or prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed

Pay: $13.99 - $14.00 per hour
