2. Position Overview
Seeking a Contract Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team. 13-week assignment | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts (Friday–Sunday). Start Date: 08/17/2026.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex laboratory testing on blood, tissue, and body fluids.
- Analyze specimens in Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Microbiology.
- Ensure accurate test results and maintain quality standards.
- Document laboratory findings and follow established protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient care.
4. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Laboratory Technology experience.
- Blood Bank experience required.
- Cross-functional experience in all laboratory departments (excluding Histology).
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
5. Education
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related science (Required).
6. Certifications
- ASCP or AMT Certification (Required).
- BLS (AHA) Certification (Required).
7. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,200.00 per week
