Overview:
We currently are working with a client, located in Monroe Township, NJ.
We are seeking a SKILLED and EXPEREINCED Forklift Operators with:
- Cherry Picker & Reach combination of experience
- TURRET experience
We're looking for experienced candidates interested in joining large-scale manufacturing teams in fast paced environments. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and transport products within the warehouse.
- MUST BE ABLE: to pass an OPERATING TEST on the Machinery
Duties
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement of goods.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking materials using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain safety standards.
- Follow OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Skills
- Proficient in operating Cherry Picker, REACH or TURRET forklifts.
- Familiarity with materials handling processes and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate inventory tracking and shipment verification.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
