Responsibilities
- Operate and navigate rescue vessels safely across designated waterways, adhering to all maritime regulations and safety protocols
- Respond promptly to distress calls from boaters in need of assistance, providing expert rescue and support services
- Conduct routine vessel inspections, maintenance checks, and rigging to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Manage crew members effectively, providing guidance and oversight during operations to ensure team coordination and safety compliance
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair vessel systems or equipment as needed during on-water missions
- Maintain detailed logs of all rescue activities, vessel inspections, and operational reports for accountability and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with emergency responders, harbor authorities, and other maritime agencies to facilitate smooth rescue operations
Skills
- Strong maritime navigation skills with experience operating rescue or patrol vessels in various conditions
- Background in military service or related discipline demonstrating discipline, leadership, and emergency response capabilities
- Management experience leading teams or crews in high-pressure environments with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Proficiency in rigging techniques necessary for securing vessels or cargo during rescue operations
- Mechanical knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and vessel equipment to perform troubleshooting and repairs effectively
- Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with team members, clients, and emergency personnel
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions on the water while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Must have USCG Captains License and Towing Endorsement.

- Must enroll in companies Random Drug Testing Program.
