Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute fence installation projects.
- Prepare job sites by handling building materials, setting posts, and ensuring the foundation is solid using concrete forming and finishing techniques.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install fencing materials such as wood, vinyl, chain link, or metal panels.
- Perform heavy lifting of fencing materials and construction supplies while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries.
- Coordinate with team members to complete fence construction projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by handling construction material properly and disposing of debris responsibly.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating project progress clearly and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
Skills
- Strong carpentry skills with experience in frame carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, and landscape maintenance.
- Ability to read construction plans and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and safety protocols related to construction site work.
- Knowledge of fence construction projects including installation techniques for various materials.
- Experience in outdoor work environments with the physical ability for heavy lifting and assembly tasks.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must have reliable transportation
Familiarity with building material handling, concrete forming, hardscape installation, and masonry work.
Excellent customer service skills combined with a solid understanding of construction site experience and safety standards.
