American First Responder offers a variety of occupational safety and health programs. We employ EMTs for special events and sporting events to provide medical services throughout the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
Role Summary
We are seeking an EMT Basic to join our team and provide medical services for youth athletes with LAUSD Football. In this role, you will assess injuries and administer emergency medical services to injured players during games.
Job Details
· Job Type: Part-time
· Schedule: Fridays and some Thursdays with scrimmages beginning August 13, 2026, until the end of the season.
· Flexibility: Sign up for some games or sign up for all games
· Compensation: $100.00 per game? paid at the end of each game via PayPal
Responsibilities
· Engage with injured players to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses.
· Administer prescribed first-aid treatment at the site of the emergency.
· Communicate with 911 medical personnel if transport is necessary.
Qualifications
· EMT and CPR certification.
· Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
· Ability to prioritize and multitask.
· Excellent communication skills.
Experience
