Job Description
STG Auto Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and professional appearance of our dealership. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and can complete assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Essential Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms according to established procedures
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors
- Dust and wipe down tables, counters, doors, and other surfaces
- Empty wastebaskets and trash containers
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
- Safely use cleaning products and equipment in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer instructions
- Place appropriate warning signs around wet or hazardous areas
- Report maintenance, safety, and supply concerns to management
- Maintain clean and organized storage and supply areas
- Perform other related cleaning duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe-handling practices preferred
- Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including standing or walking for extended periods and regularly bending, reaching, crouching, and scrubbing, with or without reasonable accommodation
