The Gate Guys, Inc. is looking for qualified field service technicians specializing in automated gates, access control systems, fabrication, maintenance, and service. We've been serving the Valley of the Sun for over 20 years and have a leading reputation for quality, customer service and integrity.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Using your technical skills and knowhow to install, maintain and service automated gates and access control system, ensuring safe, proper operation for our customers.
- Troubleshooting and identifying issues with automated gates and developing solutions for customer issues, and ensuring our customers' access control systems are in top working order.
- Interpreting safety standards such as ASTM F2200 and UL 325 in order to make recommendations to bring existing automated gate installations up to code.
- Using your excellent customer service skills to help our customers understand issues with their automated gates and what you'll do to solve them, as well as any potential safety issues that should be addressed.
- Taking great notes to help our back office understand issues you encountered onsite, what you did to solve them, and any potential follow-up bids that might be required to get our customers automated gates back in great shape.
- Overhead doors and camera experience a plus!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Strong technical knowledge of automated gates including operators, safety devices, access control units.
- Experience working with hand and power tools in low voltage environments.
- Working knowledge of safety standards like ASTM F2200 and UL 325.
- It's a plus if you're a proficient and safe MIG welder!
- Solid organizational & customer service skills.
- High integrity and pride in your work.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
- 40-50 hours per week of work servicing the Maricopa County area with weekends off and limited on-call, compensated at a competitive hourly rate, with overtime.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
