Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients to support kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness of the pit area by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Support food handling procedures in accordance with safety standards and health regulations
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dishes to ensure a tidy dining environment
- Aid in catering setups and banquet events by organizing supplies and assisting with service as needed
- Follow proper food service protocols when serving guests, ensuring prompt and courteous interactions
- Contribute to overall kitchen operations by supporting cooking activities and ensuring timely delivery of food items
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Experience working in banquet or catering settings is a plus
- Kitchen experience involving food preparation or cooking tasks is highly desirable
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions and multitask effectively
- Hospitality background or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not required
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating positive guest experiences
