Job Responsibilities:
- Perform accounts payable functions that include reviewing, verifying, coding, posting, and matching invoices
- Process invoices and reconcile payments
- Review vendor statements to assure invoices have been paid and request missing invoices
- Pays vendors in a timely manner, schedules and prepares checks, and resolves purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies
- Process weekly financial reports and other financial reports as needed
- Reconcile specific balance sheet accounts
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Understand expense accounts and cost centers
- Assist in general administrative tasks
- Other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications (Required):
- Computer proficiency in a Microsoft® Windows environment
- Experience using Microsoft® Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)
- Ability to schedule and prioritize multiple tasks and make deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the initiative and ability to learn more
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
- Previous experience in a corporate office environment
- Strong Excel skills that allow for building and maintaining spreadsheets
- Experience with Macros or programing is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP

Position Hours/Compensation:
- Wage: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Hours: 40 Hours per week
- Schedule: 5 days per week
