MAD Detailing (MAD 4X4) is seeking a friendly, organized, and tech-savvy Service Writer/Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our customers and a key player in our daily operations.
This is a part-to-full time position ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has a passion for customer service, and brings creativity and professionalism to both in-person and online interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in person and provide guidance on detailing, window tinting, paint protection, and suspension services.
- Answer phone calls, return voicemails, and respond to customer inquiries via email.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the shop calendar efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and communicate minor service concerns with customers.
- Follow up on leads and pending service inquiries to drive sales and retention.
- Process payments and assist with collections on past-due balances.
- Perform parts research and place orders as needed.
- Keep the lobby and customer areas clean, presentable, and well-stocked.
- Manage and grow our social media presence, including creating, posting, and editing content.
- Take high-quality photos of vehicles and services for marketing and social platforms.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications and services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or front desk roles.
- Strong phone and email communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Google tools.
- Social media management experience across platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
- Comfortable using professional-grade cameras and photo editing tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part to full-time availability, Monday through Saturday
- Starting pay: $18/hour (with potential for growth based on performance and experience)
