In this energetic position, you will conduct comprehensive inspections of homes, identify potential issues, and provide detailed reports to the company, needed prior to executing an installation. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of residential properties, including structural elements, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, insulation and HVAC components.
- Conduct quality control and quality inspection checks during various stages of construction or renovation projects.
- Collect detailed data on property conditions using standardized forms and digital tools for accurate reporting.
- Identify construction site issues or deviations from energy reports and scopes of work , while providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Review contracts and construction documentation to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to monitor progress, verify work quality, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction processes, site management, and building codes.
- Excellent analysis skills to evaluate structural integrity and identify defects or hazards.
- Proficiency in reading energy, construction code and technical drawings related to residential construction.
- Experience with construction site inspections, quality control procedures, and data collection methods.
- Knowledge of pipeline systems and related infrastructure within residential properties.
- Ability to interpret construction contracts and manage inspection documentation accurately.
