Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on food‑processing machinery, including conveyors, mixers, grinders, packaging equipment, refrigeration systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and PLC‑related issues to reduce downtime and maintain continuous production.
- Conduct repairs, replace parts, and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and compliance documentation.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and GMP/HACCP protocols.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility maintenance projects.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to support operational goals.
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams.
- Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with PLCs, refrigeration systems, or welding is a bonus.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Availability for overtime, weekends, or emergency repairs as needed.
- Availability to travel to our other facilities in NY.
Pay: $24.55 - $29.56 per hour
