Job Summary

You'll educate customers on product options, assist with retail sales transactions, maintain an inviting retail environment, and ensure timely, professional deliveries. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting in-store customers with product selection and educating them on cannabis products, effects, and proper usage.
- Conduct product demonstrations and answer customer questions in a knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Accurately operate the POS system for all retail transactions, including cash and electronic payments.
- Handle cash with integrity, balance cash drawers, and perform retail math accurately.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of store products, promotions, and merchandising strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
- Restock inventory, organize product displays, and help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant retail environment.
- Coordinate delivery orders, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with customers.
- Practice safe driving and delivery procedures while adhering to all company policies and local regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
- Support team members and assist with supervisory responsibilities when needed to foster a positive, collaborative workplace.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality is highly preferred.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in retail or hospitality is a plus.
- Experience using POS systems and handling cash accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Experience with merchandising, product demonstrations, and upselling techniques is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus and valued for serving a diverse customer base.
- Cannabis industry experience or product knowledge is beneficial but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age (or meet all applicable state and local cannabis employment requirements).
- Reliable transportation is required for deliveries. Applicants must have access to an e-bike, e-scooter, or personal vehicle (car preferred).
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance are required if using a personal vehicle for deliveries.
- Clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to safely navigate delivery routes using GPS or navigation apps.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and move throughout an entire shift.
- Must be able to pass all required background checks and maintain compliance with state and local cannabis regulations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
