Complex Sales Manager

Position Overview
The Complex Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue and ensuring the success of our hotels by developing new client relationships, maintaining existing accounts, and actively pursuing group and social business. This position requires consistent prospecting, strong client engagement, and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced environment.
Primary responsibilities include selling group room blocks and meeting space in alignment with the business plan to achieve or exceed budgeted revenue goals. Success in this role is measured by personal revenue goals, pace toward goals, and completion of assigned sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Prospect and secure new business through outside calls, networking, solicitation, and cold-calling.
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, sales calls, and walk-ins.
- Prepare and manage proposals, contracts, group resumes, BEOs, reservation links, and related documents.
- Maintain accurate account records, bookings, and sales activities in Delphi.
- Partner with the Complex Director of Sales on outside calls to key target accounts.
- Actively participate in local community events and sales blitzes to generate hotel awareness and revenue.
- Monitor competitor activity and share market intelligence.
- Create, manage, and maintain group blocks in Delphi and Fosse.
- Handle booking, contracting, and execution of meeting room events.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure showrooms are properly maintained.
- Support and collaborate with the Front Desk team to ensure seamless group execution.
- Participate in Revenue Strategy Meetings and business reviews as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with meeting planners, including post-event follow-up surveys.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support hotel operations and revenue growth.
- Contribute as a proactive and collaborative team member.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of hotel sales or front-of-house operations experience, preferably in select-service or focused-service hotels.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with brand sales systems; Delphi and Fosse experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Ability to analyze hotel reports and present findings effectively to clients and leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
