Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Prepare and assemble pasta dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with menu planning by offering input on pasta options and ingredient selections
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of ingredients during preparation and serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pasta station, including utensils, equipment, and work area
- Support kitchen operations by coordinating with culinary team members to ensure timely meal delivery
- Handle food with care, demonstrating knife skills and proper cooking techniques to produce high-quality dishes
- Engage in food preparation tasks such as portioning, garnishing, and plating to enhance visual appeal
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues during busy periods
- Uphold all food industry standards for hygiene, safety, and sanitation at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Excellent knife skills and experience in meal preparation are preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for the food industry with a focus on pasta dishes or Italian cuisine is advantageous
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters teamwork and guest satisfaction
