Job Description:
BDS is the largest independently owned bearing and PT distributor in the northeast. We are known as the leader within all the markets in which we are established.
We are seeking a motivated, well organized and goal-oriented individual to join our outside sales team out of our Lansdowne, PA branch for a territory roughly covering Delaware County and Philadelphia markets.
Our company’s 40+ year history, team-based culture, and strategically located warehouses throughout the eastern half of PA, NJ and DE continue to drive our growth as a trusted partner to our customers.
Our sales teams strive to be the best in their market and work hard to succeed.
Qualified individuals will be responsible for new and repair sales as it relates to:
· Bearing and Power Transmission components and systems
· Commercial HVAC
· Automation components and systems
· Hydraulic and Pneumatic components and systems
· Conveyor components and systems
· Conveyor belting along with installation
· Welder repair
· Electric motors along with repair

Duties:
· Promote BDS as the #1 choice for effective Industrial Maintenance Solutions as well as commercial HVAC.
· Recommend strategies to increase sales for existing customers.
· Develop new business opportunities in existing territory.
· Create and maintain a strong rapport with customers.
· Provide superior customer service.
· Introducing specialty services and new product offerings to customers.
· Participation in Sales Team goals and objectives.
· Attending all sales meetings.
· Participation in joint sales calls.
· Commit to ongoing technical training.
Qualifications:
