Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your attention to detail and ability to translate concepts into accurate and precise drawings will be crucial in this role. Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and objectives
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MicroStation, and Sketchup to draft designs
- Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings, adhering to industry standards and regulations
- Make necessary revisions or modifications to drawings as requested by project stakeholders
- Collaborate with other drafters and team members to ensure consistency and quality in design documentation
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MicroStation, and Sketchup
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and techniques
- Familiarity with 2D animation software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of NavisWorks is preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
