Overview

Duties
- Collect blood samples and urine specimens from patients using aseptic techniques.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Record vital signs and maintain accurate documentation of patient information.
- Assist in the preparation and transportation of specimens to the laboratory for analysis.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and laboratory procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing concerns and answering questions regarding specimen collection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the collection area, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and ready for use.
