This position is in the Office of Inspector General/Fraud and Inspections Unit at the SCDMV Headquarters, Blythewood, SC.
Responsibilities of the Temp Fraud Inspector

Assist investigators with research related to motor vehicle document applications, identity theft, vehicle theft, and other irregularities within SCDMV records and systems.

Assist investigators with case reports and ensuring that findings, investigations, and actions are documented.

Communicate with various stakeholders including SCDMV staff, law enforcement, and other government agencies.

Analyze reporting of operational activities to identify potential indicators of fraud or vulnerabilities.

Act as a liaison between law enforcement, SCDMV customers, and SCDMV offices.

Participate in continuous learning opportunities to enhance skills relevant to SCDMV fraud detection and prevention, general business acumen, and ways of working.

Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
