Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Child Development and Health Service Area Manager to lead and oversee comprehensive child health and developmental programs within our community. This vital role involves managing healthcare and educational services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes optimal growth and well-being for children. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of child health and development programs across the service area, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee teaching staff to mentor implementation of curriculum, child assessments, and health and safety.
- Oversee Health Coordinator processes to guarantee high-quality clinical care, safety protocols, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintaining rigorous quality assurance and continuous improvement practices.
- Develop and monitor operational budgets, resource allocation, and staffing plans to optimize service delivery efficiency.
- Foster strong relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and families to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
- Lead staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives to cultivate a motivated and skilled team committed to excellence in child health services.Experience
- Proven experience in education and child development.
- Demonstrated management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with curriculum and Head Start is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles combined with healthcare delivery best practices based on state OCFS Licensing and Head Start federal regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with staff, families, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Prior experience implementing quality improvement initiatives that enhance child safety and service quality is preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
