We are seeking a motivated Part-Time General Cleaner with EMS in Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085, to join our dynamic cleaning team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining pristine facilities while supporting our commitment to eco-friendly and safe cleaning practices. Monday-Friday 5pm-10pm
Weekends 10am-2pm
Responsibilities
- Cleaning in a warehouse atmosphere
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals, ensuring high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Utilize floor buffers and other floor care equipment to maintain shiny, clean surfaces across various flooring types.
- Conduct custodial tasks such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting regularly throughout shifts.
- Assist with light maintenance duties including minor repairs or painting as needed to support facility upkeep.
- Follow all safety guidelines during manual handling and heavy lifting activities to prevent injuries and promote a safe work environment.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supply usage, and safety compliance for accountability and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning standards is a plus.
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation best practices.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely according to established practices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
