We are looking for a SOLID FUELS OPERATOR to join our Buffalo, Iowa location. As a Solid Fuels Operator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will receive, prepare, and feed high-quality waste fuel materials into the recycling process to support efficient and reliable plant operations.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Receive, prepare, and feed fuel materials at a consistent rate (up to 13 tons/hour).
- Operate production and mobile equipment.
- Use basic maintenance tools, including hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment.
- Monitors equipment to ensure continuous operations, troubleshoots problems, investigates failures, and takes correct action.
- Conducts operating and minor maintenance on equipment and assists the maintenance crew in significant repairs.
About You
We Require:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1–year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience operating, inspecting, and troubleshooting equipment.
- Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience operating mobile equipment and production equipment.
- Computer literacy.
- Able to work overtime, 12 hour rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends.
