We are seeking an experienced Transportation Operations Manager to lead our dispatch department and manage our team of professional chauffeurs.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, developing employees, maintaining compliance and delivering exceptional customer service across our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the dispatch department.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop dispatch staff and professional drivers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
- Conduct driver onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Ensure operational efficiency, on-time performance, and service quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Resolve operational challenges and support the dispatch team during high-demand situations.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Utilize telematics and ELD systems to monitor driver compliance, Hours of Service, and operational performance.
- Work closely with fleet maintenance and executive leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Ideal Background
- 5–10+ years of transportation or fleet operations experience.
- 3–5+ years managing dispatch operations and professional drivers.
- Experience leading teams of 30–100+ drivers in a transportation environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to build accountability and high-performing teams.
- Experience in charter bus, motorcoach, limousine, luxury transportation, logistics, or commercial fleet operations.
- Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service requirements, ELDs, and telematics platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience using dispatch, fleet management, GPS tracking, and transportation management software.
- Highly organized, customer-focused, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
